Magic the Gathering

GrandLAN hosts Magic the Gathering tournaments, leagues, and open play.  We also carry a wide selection of singles for standard, modern, and legacy formats.

Events

We host drafts, FNM, Commander, and league events as well as other special events from time to time.  Currently, we offer:

  • Tuesday Commander/EDH casual 6:00pm start
  • FNM on Fridays at 1:00pm (early) and 7:00pm (late)
  • Booster Draft Thursday at 6:30pm and Sunday at 1:30pm
Late FNM start time is subject to change based on event turnout for early FNM.  The Magic Tournament Organizer on staff can inform you of the time for late FNM after early FNM has started. For more information about league events, see our in-store bulletin about the current league or call for details.

As an added bonus, all Magic events at GrandLAN include game time on our PC’s and game consoles.  Browse the web or play the latest video games on our high-speed network between matches, before, and after your event.

Card Selection

We carry boosters of both current and past sets.  We have one of the widest selections in West Michigan of current and legacy boosters– Over 12 sets as of publishing.  We also keep a collection of over 40,000 commons and uncommons from some of the earliest sets up to the current set.  If there is a card you need, we are likely to have it or we’ll be able to help you find it.

Current in-print set boosters are $3/pack, or $100 per box.  Legacy boosters vary in price according to market valuation.  Call or stop in for current set availability and pricing.  Pricing exceptions apply to special release and foreign language sets.

Preorders

You can preorder the upcoming set for $90 per box or $525 per case (6 boxes).  Preorder prices include tax are limited to first availability.  Late preorders are subject to delay until stock is available.  Preorder pricing ends one week prior to new set release.

As an added bonus, we are promoting our Dark Ascension pre-orders with a FREE FNM entry if you pre-order on the day of the event.
